Ron Patrick's jet-powered Honda scooter

This is the best thing I have seen all day! According to the article this gave him an extra 1,350 horse power. You gotta read the whole post at Engadget. Now I gotta get me a scooter. Also check out Ron's Jet Beetle and more pics of his scooter at his site.

Manage Your Programs.

If your like me you have between 50-100 programs on your Mac and the dock just doesn't have room for all the software goodness you use everyday. Well problem solved... Todos! I have been using a program called TigerLaunch to remedy this problem but it just took longer then i wanted. I wanted something like a dashboard widget that could just zoom in, launch a program, and zoom out. Well thanx to the good people at Maczot.com I now have just that program. Todos, which is spanish for everything... so they say, is a quick and purty way to find the app that you need and get it up and running. You can even set it to a hot key so it's easy to get too. It's one of those great additions to an already amazing OS. And best of all... IT'S FREE! God bless you open source people :)

In a Music Mood...

I have been in a music mood today so I thought I would share two amazing gems with you guys. First is an older cd by a group called Eastmountainsouth. They are an amzing mix of modern and folk genres with amazing vocals and some of the most beautiful musical arrangements I have heard in a long time. Just an amazing CD from start to finish. No filler here...

Secondly, a new group I just found. The Wood Brothers music has a rootsy feel that blends blues, folk, and rock music in a guitar/bass duo. This CD has an amazing feel to it... cool acoustic grooves with deep bass lines. I can't get it out of my car CD player. It has been all I have listened to for the last couple of days.

You can click on the album covers to go to these bands in iTunes. So go check them out. And Eastmountainsouth is only $6.99 right now! The best 7 bucks I have spent in years.

Freeze Scumbag...

The SwissMiniGun is a 2.16-inch replica of a Colt Python, and it's a real gun that shoots tiny bullets that are just .35 inches long. This miniature Swiss-made revolver and its ammunition are painstakingly crafted using watchmaking technology.

Looks like the little shooter could do some damage, propelling that tiny slug at 426.5 f/sec. out of the muzzle. Wonder if it has a kick to it. No word on pricing. – Charlie White
